I hope everyone has had a great week. The students did very well on their continents and oceans quiz and their latitude and longitude quiz this week. Ask your student about both of those. The rest of the week we learned about the two of the Five Themes of Geography. Those themes were location and place. Next week, we will learn about movement, human environment interaction, and region. On Friday, students will be starting a project on the Five Themes of Geography. Information on this project, including a rubric, directions, study guide and notes for the unit, can be found by clicking on the Important Documents for Social Studies Tab and then the 3rd and 4th Week Folder.
