Social Studies August 31-September 4

Good Afternoon!

Social Studies August 24-28

Good Morning!

Social Studies August 17-21

Good Afternoon!

It has been a week of whirlwind and excitement around here!  We've had such a wonderful week learning all the expectations and procedures and having some fun  along the way.  Next week, students will be taking their NWEA Reading Test during Social Studies.  The last three days will be spent on a Map Skills unit.  The students will have an assessment on Friday over Map Skills.  To find a rubric, notes and study guide for this assessment, just click the Important Documents for Social Studies tab and the link provided.  After clicking the link, you should see a folder named "Map Skills," this is where you will find the notes, study guide and rubric.  I hope everyone has a great weekend!

YMCA Program Leader

Clever-YMCA After School Program needs a Program Leader!
Compensation: $9.25 per hour (varies by experience)
Qualifications: 
• At least 18 years of age with HSD or equivalent 

• CPR/First Aid certifications and Child Abuse trainings attained within 30 days of hire

• SAS Program Leader: Must have a minimum of 60 college level credits, at least 12 credits in elementary education, child guidance, or child development, minimum of 12 months experience working with school age children, must be familiar with state licensing guidelines and requirements


Reports to: School Age Services Area Director

Wage Range: $9.25 per hour 

Hours: Hours of work 2:30-6:30 M-Th, 12:50-6:30 Fridays


The School Age Services (SAS) Program is seeking individuals to run our before and after school programs in Clever. They will be responsible for planning, leading, and implementing recreational and creative experiences for school age children in a group setting. The incumbent provides high quality recreational experiences for school aged children that focus on the YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring. They will also supervise staff on site while on duty.
