Public Avenue

To All Concerned,

As you all know we have been planning for a few years now to make street improvements to Public Ave. from Brown St (Hwy K) to Inman St.  APAC is the contractor for this project.  In order for them to be able to do the best job for us on this project we are going to need to make some street closures.

EFFECTIVE APRIL 20, 2016 THRU APRIL 22, 2016 - Public Ave. will be closed to all thru traffic from Brown St (Hwy. K) on the North to Carpenter St. on the South.  There will be NO PARKING in front of the school building during this time.  The school parking lot will be accessible from Carpenter St. for entrance and exit.  ALL PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC will need to cross at the crosswalk at Carpenter.  There will be an open trench, so it is imperative that all pedestrians use the one crosswalk.  Public Ave. will remain open from Carpenter St. South

Please help us in informing the public of this impending street closing.  If there are any questions, please let me know.  If there are any changes to this schedule due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, I will notify everyone as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Jaredd King
