Social Studies Homework and Assessment

Good Evening!

Just wanted to let everyone know, students have had homework the last two weeks.  These homework assignment have been a vocabulary quilt and an India web quest.  If students have not turned these assignments in, they have an I.  If you have questions on this, please don't hesitate to email me!

Social Studies January 20-23

Good Morning!

Next week, we will be wrapping up our unit on Ancient India.  On Monday, the students will be learning about the Caste System and Life in Mohenjo-Dharo.  On Tuesday, students will be learning about the religions of Ancient India (Hinduism and Buddhism).  The students will have their assessment over Ancient India next Friday.  Study guide, notes, and an assessment for the rubric can be found in the Important Documents link.  If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.  I hope everyone has a great day!

Social Studies January 12-16

Good Morning!

Good Afternoon!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Holiday break.  I know I sure am, but can't wait to get back into the swing of things :).  This week, students will be starting to learn about Ancient India.  On Friday, the students will have a India Map I-Assignment.  A blank map, map with answers and a rubric for the I-Assignment can be found in the Important Documents link.  I have also added the India notes, India study guide and the rubric for the end of the unit assessment (the date has not been finalized for the end of the unit assessment).  If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
