Homework 10/19
Good Evening!
Students have homework this evening. They need to write the definitions for the following vocabulary words in their own words. The words are:
Agriculture
Hunter/Gatherer
Irrigation
Empire
Polytheism
Students make use their notes. Also, students need to look over their Mesopotamia map. They have a test over this map on Friday. I hope everyone is having a great evening!

Social Studies October 20-23
Good Afternoon!
Next week we will continue to focus on Mesopotamia. We will be looking at what civilizations did before farming, the Fertile Crescent and also where Mesopotamia was located. Students will have a Map I-assignment on Friday. A blank map and a map with the answers can be found by clicking the link found in the Important Documents tab. Once on the link, click on the Mesopotamian folder. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Next week, we will have our unit test over Culture. This will take place on Tuesday. A study guide, and rubric for the assessment can be found by clicking the link in my Important Documents tab. For the rest of the week, students will be working on their Culture Project. Students will comparing and contrasting the United States to a country of their choosing using the six elements of culture. Directions and a rubric for this project can also be found by clicking the link found in the Important Documents tab. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me. The end of the quarter is next Friday, October 9th, students must have all assignments completed and turned in by then.
